IntraMaps Public is a powerful interactive mapping system that has been designed to provide a wide range of mapping based
information in an easy-to-use web based application.
IntraMaps Public provides a number of powerful features that allow a user to interactively explore a map while providing
detailed information about objects on the map with a simple mouse click.
For example, a search on a street address will result in the property being highlighted to confirm it has been selected
and secondly, a text display of all information such as, address, owner, property dimensions, zoning, etc displayed
alongside the map.
We recommend you take some time to familiarise yourself with the features of IntraMaps using the Frequently Asked
Questions in the right hand panel of the application and this help menu.
Important User Information
IntraMaps Public is a dynamic application that does not behave the same
as traditional web pages. Once you have entered an IntraMaps Public session it is no
longer valid to use many of the functions associated with the browser
application, such as forward and back, refresh and stop. We recommend that only IntraMaps Public
functions be used in each session.
IntraMaps Public provides a comprehensive range of zoom,
pan, and query tools. It is important to remember that because you are working over
the internet there may be a time delay between a click of the mouse and a result on
the screen. In most cases this will be minimal, however there are many factors
that may affect this that are outside the control of the IntraMaps Public application.
